But wait...there is more! - A storytelling festival.

Directly after FEST’s annual conference there will be a remarkable international storytelling festival in Stockholm. You, as a FEST-participant, will have the opportunity to contribute with your storytelling skills.

BNÖ with partners cooperate with the City Museum and the Museum of Ethnography in Stockholm where the festival will take place. Some performances will also be outside under the open sky at a magical courtyard at Mäster Olofsgården in the Old Town. There will be pop-up storytelling and story concerts in the museums under certain themes where participants from the FEST conference will have an opportunity take part of. More info will soon arrive. Some highlights:

• Stories in the dark. Enter a room in total darkness and listen to heartbreaking stories.

• Midnight sun stories. in the land where the stories and the people never sleep.

• International Myth-Off. The norse mythology is challenged by powerful, international mythologies in an entertaining competition.

• Some of the tellers: Abbi Patrix, Paola Balbi, Fidaa Ataya, Emily and Nick Hennessey and Davide Bardi.

And the best part: more storytellers and more activities is TBA in a near future….
